Our mission is to provide the Portland-Metro area with sustainable, ethically-raised, grass-fed beef.
The grass-fed diet produces leaner beef that is higher in Omega-3 fatty acids, beta-carotene, vitamin E, B-vitamins (thiamin and riboflavin), calcium, magnesium, potassium and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). It is also lower in saturated fats that are linked with heart disease.
Our cows eat only pasture and hay, making them less prone to sickness and disease. We do not give antibiotics or hormones to our meat animals.
75-80% of grass-fed beef is shipped from abroad. Locally raised grass-fed beef reduces your carbon footprint and supports your local economy.
Land stewardship is important to us. We use rotational grazing practices, foster plant diversity and recycle cattle manure. This enhances biodiversity in the soil which in turn creates high-quality environmental health for our animals and the wildlife on the ranch.
We are a woman-owned-and-operated business.
